Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using IAMScouting (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

IAMScouting provides scouting data tools, a scouting network for football professionals, player reports, and related features. The Scouting Network is currently in pilot (v0.2) and features may change.

3. Eligibility & Conduct

You must be at least 18 years old.
Provide accurate information. Fake personas, impersonation, and harassment lead to account termination.
Do not scrape, resell, or redistribute data without written permission.
Do not use the Service to circumvent regulations governing player transfers, agent licensing, or minors.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Paid tiers (Pro-Scout, Elite-Scout, Premium-Scout, Gold-Scout) are billed monthly via Stripe. Cancellations take effect at end of current billing period. No refunds for partial months unless required by law.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (pins, reports, messages). By submitting, you grant IAMScouting a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and process it to deliver the Service. We may anonymize and aggregate content for analytics.

6. Data Sources & Attribution

Match data is provided under license from third-party providers (Smrt Stats and free open-data sources). Map tiles are provided by Esri. Stadium and venue data is sourced from OpenStreetMap (ODbL) and Wikidata (CC0). We do not represent that all data is complete, accurate, or current.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. IAMScouting is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time via /account.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice 14 days before they take effect.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Country], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [City].
