Player report – Fredrik Bjorkan

Available in multiple languages

Automatic translations (original language: deutsch)

introduction

The position of the left-back has developed into a very popular position in the last decade. The reference players in this position also became better known and more valuable. The need for good left-backs is often very high, and at the same time difficult to clothe.

Today we present Norway's most talented left-back.

Player type / Home position

Fredrik is in itself a classic left-back with “offensive urge” (correctly one would have to say left full-back). He has already played games on the left wing and could do it in one 5-3-2 System even the entire left side “plowing”. Therefore, you could also use him as a left midfielder if necessary.

Skills

Although he acts as a left foot on the left side, of course, preferably with the left, he is a player who, whenever possible and necessary, can easily pull in the middle and also crosses and passes with his right foot. It is agile, brave and strong dribble, so that he often finds a way out even under pressure from several opponents.

He most often plays his strengths by quickly overcoming his opponents (also fast on the move with ball and dribbling) to then flank flanks into the center over the wing, whenever possible. As already mentioned, however, he does not lack alternatives, if the way over the wing is blocked. He definitely has his advantages on the offensive rather than on the defensive.

Weak points

He is physically robust and with its 1.81m is one of the “larger ones” LAVs, is surprisingly rather bad in aerial combat due to poor timing and lack of bounce, he could also use his otherwise robust body better in defensive actions. Generally, he doesn't seem to be a player, who likes duels, there he and must surely still grow (have to), making it a complete one “LOW” becomes.

Potential

Currently in Norway “unrivaled” regarding the potential at the LV position at his young age. He may have a clear conscience at a decent level “Europa League player” grow up, with air up, provided he also increases performance in stronger leagues and, as should be expected, also in the Norwegian national team. He has already run through the U-teams.

Market value

It is a “Bargain-Player” if you estimate his real transfer at 1-2mio, what we do with it. A player with very good prospects, to become a regular in the Norwegian national team in the future, with constant development. With good performances in a next higher league strength such as Russia (see comparison values pictures), its market value can be doubled or tripled quickly.

Erkan Eyibil FSV Mainz 05 Prodigy Short-Report

0

In focus today: Erkan Eyibil

The sparrows have been whistling it off the roof for a long time. A rough diamond is growing up. In itself, he combines every element that a “footballer magician” à la Ilkay Gündogan with a dash of Mesut Özil's genius, must embody. elegance, Ingenuity, Technique, Game intelligence, Vision, Agility, Stability and even a goal. Hardly an attribute that you would not be attributed to him. At least as far as the youth departments are concerned, he constantly confirms his performance. Still, there seems to be some fragility in its nature, let's just think of a Marc Stendera (formerly) from the "rival" Eintracht Frankfurt. Similar career, both native Kasseler, very similar in terms of player type, unfortunately also the fickleness.

You have to pay a big compliment to Mainz, that you only slowly introduce him to the first team. In contrast to a Leandro Barreiro (who could also be facing a world career), Erkan is still a little lacking in "maturity". But if Mainz can do it, Introducing him bit by bit to the Bundesliga level and thereby promoting his creativity and also allowing him freedom to make mistakes, he CAN step into the tracks of an Ilkay Gündögan. He always has the prerequisites. The question remains, whether the fragile construct becomes stable, both physically and mentally, or at least steps back a little like it (Unfortunately) in the case of Marc Stenderas.

We keep our fingers crossed for Erkan and hope for a remarkable career. Since he has gone through all of Germany's national teams, should he, if everything goes in a controlled way, also become a topic for the A national team in the medium term.

Over- and Under- Performer Analysis there 1. Bundesliga 2019/2020

0

A brief analysis of the respective over- and underperformer of the 18 Teams in front Bundesliga sequel “to” Corona in der Saison 19/20:

Bayern Munich:

Overperformer:

Here are a few. Even though Lewandowski his achievements like a machine repeated year after year are once again to be mentioned here first. Where would the FCB be without him?? You could even go so far as to say, he was in the shape of his life.

Another candidate who has returned from the ashes a little bit like Phoenix, is beyond any doubt Thomas Müller. It is nice, that he is playing at his old level again. With his ambition, however, not too much of a miracle, and who would please represent Bayern better than him??

Another overperformer, who has also proven this, to be able to stay at this world-class level in the long term Serge Gnabry. Especially in the weak phases of the FCB, he was always on the front line.

Of course, too Alphonse Davies and Joshua Zirkzee to call, which will now belong to this tribe with great certainty.

Underperformer:

In fact, measured by numbers, you can't count Coutinho as an underperformer. Even if the media do, let's not list him as an underperformer here, rather take protection, many other sizes struggled in their first Bundesliga season. And as I said, in terms of numbers, it lies with 8 Fools and 6 Templates in the front third.

Injury bad luck or not, we call in this category Kingsley Coman, who doesn't make it this year either, to turn his talent into effectiveness. At Corentin Tolisso there are probably none 2 Comments, that the path for him at FCB will soon come to an end.

Borussia Dortmund:

Overperformer:

With Achraf Hakimi, Erling Haaland and Jadon Sancho let's call the indisputable overperformers bad! Not to forget the stabilizers Reus and Witsel, that form the basic structure of the team. The achievements this year are worthy of a leader. PS: We wouldn't want to praise an Emre Can too soon….

Underperformer:

Unfortunately, we have to mention a player who, surprisingly, makes it into public criticism less often than justified and even, according to Kicker, as 2. Best defender of the current season emerges. Mats Hummels In our opinion, since his return, he simply has not been able to achieve the desired stability both in himself and in the overall defense. Analyzes the participations in conceding goals, he is too often directly and indirectly involved. At his level, he has to be much more focused. In prominent company of his world champion colleague Mario Götze, in which no world-class season is emerging this year either.

Finally, you have to admit yourself, the existence Mo Dahoud unfortunately cannot follow in the footsteps of an Ilkay Gündogan.

RB Leipzig:

Overperformer:

Actually, we should only name a single player here, because he's outshining everyone else this year, and surely it will polarize with this description, but for us it is Marcel Sabitzer. The fact that his world-class achievements surprise more nationally and internationally than one Timo Werners or Christopher Nkunku, which we absolutely want to call an overperformer, would even let us go that far, to claim, he could even play for a larger club with this performance, than RB represents it anyway. It is a feast for the eyes to watch him at work this season.

In itself, we would also need the whole Defensive from RB mention, they also represent the best defense in the league with FC Bayern. Started by Peter Gulasci, who makes life difficult even for a huge talent like Yvon Mvogo with his achievements, via Upamecano, Konate, Mukiele, Klostermann and Co.

Underperformer:

With Yussuf Poulsen and Emil Forsberg we have to here 2 chalk real RB legends , to be influenced in character, because they would have loved to go abroad. The achievements this year are clearly not clear with the RB standard.

Borussia Monchengladbach

Overperformer:

It is a fixture in this category Denis Zakaria, the heart of BMG. Hopefully he will come back quickly and fit. This hole will be difficult for Gladbach. Is nominated Bensebaini framework. Until the Bundesliga change still relative “unknown / undiscovered” he delivers breathtaking performances, especially in the important games. It will be difficult to count on him in the future. Also a Florian Neuhaus is currently developing splendidly. Matthias Ginter seems to be on his career peak.

The seasonal performances by Yann Sommer and Stefan Lainer are also worth mentioning. Be offensive an embolo, Plea, Let's consider Stindl and Thurman to be overperforming (still) back, since the initial performance has unfortunately decreased somewhat in the end. There has to be more to come.

Underperformer:

It's not for nothing that Gladbach played one of the most successful seasons in recent years. A team grows together, and the talents develop. Since it is hardly noticeable, that the seasoned Gldbach greats like Jantschke, Raffael, Johnson, Touré a little out of rank, intern.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen:

Overperformer:

Undisputed overperformer is natural Kai Havertz, however, he gets company from a new rising star, called Moussa Diaby, who already showed his incredible talent with his achievements. There is sure to be a lot more to come. Paulinho is already one of the starting blocks here. The achievements of Charles Aranguiz and Karim Bellarabi have also been remarkable so far. Defensive in a rather below average defensive department Lukas Hradecky out, which in our opinion, performs better than its predecessor! A super transfer!

Underperformer:

Therefore, the underperformers tend to be on the defensive, especially on the wings, more of everyone is allowed to come. Especially from Wendell and Mitchel Weiser.

FC Schalke 04:

Overperformer:

Here we would like to Benito Raman mention the seamless continuation of his approaches to Fortuna times at a higher level. Also a Suat Serdar found himself perfectly right after turbulent S04 early months. The new rock in the surf was also in Ozan Pumpkin found who is unfortunately initially injured. However, this gives Jean-Claire Todibo hours of use, and he has done so impressively so far. We are excited to see what else he has in the repertoire. Omar Mascarell Like Serdar, has now established itself as a fixture in the Schalke midfield.

Underperformer:

You have to stand here today Alexander Nübel cite. He will probably have a hard time with S04 as well as with Bayern in the future. On the offensive, the cross falls through on the storm personified Guido Burgstaller who seems overwhelmed and out of place in most appearances. There will certainly be changes in this position. Unfortunately, a Kutucu has not yet been able to remedy the situation. In any case, Rabbi Matondo has the approaches to decisively strengthen the offensive.

VFL Wolfsburg:

Overperformer:

The edge in the storm Wout Weghorst has definitely brought the VFL storm into focus again. Always attentive, massive and clever with a lot of goals. Plus a winning mentality and leader qualities. A great player. Life insurance between the posts is just as important for the VFL, Koen Casteels, absolute constant performance.

Maxi Arnolds Performances are very stable and drive the entire team as a midfield engine. From Xaver Schlager we would like to see a confirmation of performance to advance to the next level.

Underperformer:

Two great talents lag behind in your performance, Josip Brekalo and Joao Victor are welcome to contribute more. Roussillon and Tisserand are also allowed to top up based on their pre-season performance.

Sc freiburg:

Overperformer:

No doubt so far a great team effort. Starting with a solid goalkeeper Alexander Schwolow. The IV jewel, Robin Koch, with a big future ahead. Christian Günther also finds its way into this category.

Underperformer:

Difficult to name one here, but from Brandon Borrello they had hoped for more.

TSG Hoffenheim:

Overperformer:

The whole team basically underperformed the goalkeeper this season Oliver Baumann, such as Andrej Kramaric and Benjamin Hübner so far you can not blame.

With Robert Skov's talent, you can certainly get out in the future.

Underperformer:

As I said, we would have to nominate the rest of the team here. In particular Sebastian Rudy should take on more responsibility. From Bebou, Bruun Larsen and Samassekou one can certainly expect more.

1. FC Cologne:

Overperformer:

The team, that the Corona break probably hurt the most, they were so on the rise. In the meantime, in the last place in the table, you worked your way up with each game. The decisive factors here were Jhon Cordoba, Timo Horn, Jonas Hector and Sebastiaan Bornauw. We look forward to the further development of Elyes Skhiri in the future.

Underperformer:

The “Superstars” Anthony Modeste such as Simon Terrodde surely could have contributed more to success. From Jorge Meré we would have expected stronger performances too.

Union berlin:

Overperformer:

Another candidate where we could call almost the entire team an overperformer. You can see the strength of the goalkeepers in the Bundesliga in this analysis. Here, too, the TW is at the forefront, Rafal Gikiewicz is a secure backing and is actively supported by Marvin Friedrich and Keven Schlotterbeck. In addition, one has probably the most underrated legal representative in the Bundesliga Christopher Trimmel. As a newcomer you are offered an absolutely Bundesliga striker Sebastian Andersson on.

Also Christian Gentner plays with his 34 Lenzen an outstanding season, a leader, though.

Underperformer:

From Sebastian Polter and particularly Yunus Malli better readings would have been expected.

Eintracht Frankfurt:

Overperformer:

The commitment has hit the mark Martin Hintereggers. The only player who has been able to maintain or improve his past performance is Filip Kostic. Again the goalkeeper Kevin Trapp convinces with solid performance. Sebastian Rode and David Abraham decisively stabilize the defensive.

The 3 Stürmer Patience, Dost and Silva may not outperform literally, but they scratch it and the knot can burst at any time. You can safely count on Almany Touré in the future.

Underperformer:

Djibril Sow, Daichi Kamada and Dominik Kohr have their ups and downs, but would have to contribute much more to team success. Bullet point, Konstanz. Stefan Ilsanker, did not manage to set accents at all.

Hertha BSC Berlin:

Overperformer:

May I mention someone from the Hertha squad? We want to protect goalkeeper Rune Jarstein, Vladimir Darida and Dedryck Beyota have also mostly demonstrated their skills.

Underperformer:

Particularly disappointing because of the talent Dodi Lukeb read, Javairo Dilrosun and Niklas Stark to be mentioned at the front or back. But definitely much more can / must come from everyone else.

FC Augsburg:

Overperformer:

One man dominates at FCA this season and that is Florian Niederlechner, so far almost everything has been achieved. Philipp Max is also relatively stable and constant in his performance. In addition, it becomes rather thin for the teammates. An overall team improvement is needed, to prevent the descent.

Underperformer:

Tin Jedvaj and Stephan Lichtsteiner have so far been unable to bring stability to the defensive. A André Hahn stands completely beside itself and hardly finds its way into the game. Many other players have to go out of the gray average area, of a talent and last year successful player like Marco Richter we also demand (still) more.

1. FSV Mainz 05:

Overperformer:

Once again, the goalkeeper is named first, rightly so, Robin Zentner even saves the FSV one or two points this season. He is accompanied by someone whom hardly anyone ever speaks about Daniel Brosinski has been a solid Mainz for years 05 Player you can always rely on, even if the world class is missing, he is an absolutely reliable Bundesliga player who is leading the way.

Pierre Kunde and Robin Quaison still make sure, that the table is currently not worse for the FSV. With Leandro Barreiro, another service provider could grow.

Underperformer:

Next Danny Latza and Edmilson Fernandez is almost the total failure of Jean-Philippe Mateta complicit in the table situation this season. From him, can and will come a lot more, Injuries or not. In contrast to Onisiwo, Adam Szalai hardly offers an alternative to Mateta. Overall, a squad that can offer more than the current table position. But first the descent must be prevented.

Fortuna Dusseldorf:

Overperformer:

Rouwen Hennings Fortuna currently holds goals in the league and honestly deserves this place. Kaan Ayhan holds the shop together on the defensive. The performances of Matthias Zimmermann and Erik Thommy are certainly worth mentioning this season. The chance, to keep the league, persists and is realistic.

Underperformer:

Dawid Kownacki could not establish itself successfully until his injury, Aymen Barkok, Kasim Adams and Marcel Sobottka are also not an asset.

SV Werder Bremen:

Overperformer:

Not as strong as last year, but still remarkable, again, Milot Rashica. Certainly one of the best SVW players in recent years. He will not be able to keep up even if he stays in the class. He plays on a different level than the rest.

Pierre Kunde and Robin Quaison still make sure, that the table is currently not worse for the FSV. With Leandro Barreiro, a further service provider could grow.

Underperformer:

In order not to mention all of them individually, all defenders except goalkeeper must be listed here. The defensive is the Achilles' heel in the team at the moment, and each individual has to improve by lengths. We are particularly disappointed in midfield Maxi Eggestein, who would have to take much more responsibility. It almost seems like a second case “Rudy” like at Schalke and TSG Hoffenheim, a certain lethargy can be felt here. His brother Johannes Eggestein suits him (spoken negatively) in nothing. From Nuri Sahin and Davy Klaassen but there should also be more support.

SC Paderborn:

Overperformer:

As such, there is no real overperformer in this team, just as little but no underperformer either, we'll try it anyway. With Vassiliadis and Sabiri there is sure to be 2 very interesting midfielders in the game of the SCP. Streli Mamba is yet another player who would be talented enough to keep the league. The TW Leopold Zingerle doesn't cut a bad figure either. The Collins line of defense, Schonlau and Kilian are certainly also promising.

Underperformer:

Sven Michel had certainly imagined the Bundesliga season differently. Ben Zolinski and Christopher Antwi-Adjei were also lacking in punch.

Farewell letter to Michael Robinson (R.I.P.)

0
Michael Robinson R.I.P.

The terrible news reaches us today, that Michael Robinson after a long fight, was defeated by cancer.

It is one of the largest, if not the “greatest” in his field.

The former professional player from Preston, Manchester City, Brighton, Queens Park Rangers and Liverpool, changed 1987 to Spain to Osasuna and found his new home there. He learned the Spanish language extremely quickly and to perfection with a unique English accent that made him unique.

He started his real career after playing football as a commentator for various Spanish radio stations- and TV channels. Starting with the World Cup 1990 in Italy, should a commentator grow up here, like no other in the world 2. Times there. Not just his clean character and his honest and direct manner (he never took a leaf from his mouth!), but especially his infinite knowledge of global football. It seemed to be a walking encyclopedia of football, with clairvoyant skills and an almost perfect player potential, Analyze teams and tactics dynamically and reproduce them in simple words.

It is common in Spain, that 2-3 Commentators comment on a game, the quality is always very high. But when Michael commented on a game, it was like watching a Lionel Messi at work, to listen in his case. In about 20 You can’t remember a game for years, about which one could have contradicted him in anything.

A man, that ALWAYS hit the nail on the head, without leaving someone in a bad light.

A gentleman and an expert in football leaves a hole that cannot be filled.

Our heart cries. Take care, we already miss you!

R.I.P. – Rest in peace, friend!

Player report – Thomas Partey

Available in multiple languages

Automatic translations (original language: deutsch)

Before approx. 6 Years ago we recommended this player as a bargain player on our old homepage. Back then, as it were “Substitute player” in the Atlético Madrid B team, we always noticed him as an outstanding player. As mentioned in the Keidi Baré Report, the central midfield at Atlético was always well occupied, was it hard, to make the jump and so it was available for both loan and sale. He was changing at that time, for one year on loan to UD Almería (had previously been with RCD Mallorca for a year), and Atlético will be happy, not to have sold it at the time (there was a transfer of 5 million in the room, that nobody was willing to pay). Now, also 6 Years later, the situation has changed a bit, we almost have to say, he is still a “Bargain Player” and why, we explain that at the end of the report.

introduction

Sometimes you have to come out as a fan of a player in scouting, we want to do this. Of course it affects our judgment, but you don't like a player for no reason, but because it convinces with certain characteristics and skills. We want to explain which these are in this report.

How Thomas came to Europe in the first place, is almost ready for film. Discovered by Spanish scouts, within a short time he became one night- and fog action, so to speak “kidnapped” and brought to Spain for trial training. There was hardly any time, Inform family and friends. Only the father had been warned of such a situation weeks earlier. However, Thomas did not hesitate and agreed, the rest is history, he convinced Atlético right from the start and was signed directly (initially for the B team).

Player type / Home position

Under Diego Simeone, bad tongues could claim, every player is one “Box to Box” player, and in fact it is a little bit like that, This is definitely true for midfielders in particular. If you look at a heat map of one of his games, you will surely be able to see action points and heat points on the entire football field.

Since his personal role model to Steven Gerrard from childhood was / is, it is hardly surprising, that they are located in the central midfield and are very similar in terms of player types. Looking at Thomas's game with the Ghanaian national team, you have to acknowledge, that he doesn't make a bad figure even as an attacking midfielder and one is rather surprised, what incredible offensive skills he has. Basically, we also like to compare him with Denis Zakaria from Borussia Mönchengladbach, they are similar in many aspects and the basic position in the more defensive central midfield as a link between the defensive and the offensive with enough “Transition” to carry the ball forward and not only centrally but also laterally, So to offer again and again on the left and right and to act as a point of reference for the outside players.

Skills

As already mentioned, Thomas primarily shows defensive skills at Atlético. Ball conquests and especially anticipation and prevention / Cutting opposing passports are among his prime skills. Despite everything, we cannot get rid of the impression, it is rather a question of one “offensiveren” midfield player, defensive targeting “forced” becomes, maybe his dissatisfaction stirs (more on that later) also because of that, when he says, he would like to be even more important for his club. At least in his national team you can see his offensive qualities as already mentioned, clearly. Even at Atlético, possibly the most defensive top team in the world, his passes to the front and successful dribbles are remarkable in both number and quality. You can also see his pronounced game intelligence from his deadly passes in depth.

His physique is rather wiry and robust, surprisingly, he works in his gang- and movement type rather lanky despite its size of “just” 1,85m which gives him more advantages in conquering balls. He has enough assertiveness, to compete in each of the TOP 4 leagues. Without a certain level of aggressiveness, no player in the world could play a game under Diego Simeone anyway. He also shows teamwork and sacrifice for the team, like his teammates.

Weak points

We agree, that with a player of his caliber most of the time “Complain at a high level” operates, but as weaknesses we would first of all like his general speed of movement and now and then his speed of action in itself as well as art, make the right decisions. It may take a second too long for him, and the ball is conquered by the opponent, or the passport is too risky and is lost. With a perfectionist like Diego Simeone, this is a mortal sin, and maybe that's where the supposed one comes from “dissatisfaction” by Thomas, which he publishes from time to time in media articles to be revised later. The relationship between coach and Thomas is considered minimal in Spain. So one can certainly also describe the media dealings as unfortunate without wanting to assume that they are weak in character.

Even if around him, play Spanish icons and leaders, he could also participate more verbally in the game and communicate more often and louder.

If you look at the number of yellow cards compared to your teammates, it turns out more clearly. This depends on a mix of his weaknesses already mentioned, paired with the fact, that he is more often than “Interceptor” acts and may not have the best tackling timing and perfect top speed. Of course, some are important and “clever” tactical fouls underneath.

Potential

For us it counts in the central midfield (with a good balance between offensive- and defensive qualities) to the top 20 players in the world. In our opinion, a change therefore only makes sense, if the receiving club is above the level (at least the same) from Atlético. There are no longer too many clubs in themselves, the latest rumors about Juventus, PSG and Bayern Munich fit very well into the action. He definitely has the talent, to continue to prove its world class in every other league. Unlike other players, it fits into every league on earth. You can't do any here “perfect” Make league, the Premier League based on current popularity, and certainly has good cards for the financial possibilities. Arsenal London, for example, would be, without wanting to step too close, athletic rather a step backwards and therefore not recommended.

In any case, we would like to see the offensive qualities mentioned, that he will get more offensive freedom at his next station. Maybe it could make it even better and more important and fully exploit its potential.

Market value

Would you estimate the real market value before the corona situation, would probably at 80-100 Million lie, because in his position he is certainly a reference player (become). As of today, and based on the alleged fixed transfer of 50 Mio you would almost have him as mentioned at the beginning “Bargain Player” describe, because this sum will more than pay off for each receiving club.

The player currently has a proposal from Atlético to extend the contract for greatly improved remuneration and an exit clause of 100 million euros. He is still hesitating, since other large clubs have expressed interest. Depending on the club, everyone could 3 Pages benefit.

When will eFootball be at the level of real football??

0
efussball efootball

There are many articles on the question of whether "eSport" displaces real football. We would suggest this first, to change the terminology from eSport to eGaming and to consider “eSport” separately. So let's define eSport this way, that it only includes real sports (z.B. Baskteball, Soccer etc), but which are carried out “digitally”. At eGaming we count classics like Fortnite etc which are not important in our discussion.

So esport is replacing real sport? In our case, eFootball is replacing real football?

We actually wanted to ask this question before the corona situation, the question would have been "whether"…now the question is actually more "when".

When will eFootball be at the level of real football?? And what consequences could that have??

We present a few potentials for this, many questions, possible effects, Theories or visions.

Then and now

Let's go back in time a few years or decades.

Who grew up in the 90s, should have seen pretty much every game console to date.

You could have followed all game genres in its development, and at the same time marvel at the unstoppable development of the Internet.

We are sure that we agree, that until the turn of the millennium, probably at least in Europe, not wasted any thought on today's excesses / potentials of e-sports. Just imagine, a child or teen would have said at that time, it wanted to become a professional eSportsman. The poor child would have been released for adoption immediately. And even today 2020, it is still frowned upon in many places to talk about such a dream within families, but, isn't it also related to real football?

Everyone knows the situation from himself, or from friends / acquaintances. If you, let's say around the early 90s, turned to his parents with the dream of becoming a professional footballer, it usually hailed rejection. In some cases, careers of potential professional footballers have already been made here, already in the making, nipped in the bud. 20 Years later it looked very different, sometimes it's already the parents, that are pushing your kids to become professional footballers, since you have recognized, how much money is involved.

Now let's briefly turn to the here and now. What will parents say about their children today?, who express the wish, to become a professional esports athlete (regardless of genre)? How is that in 5-10 be? Certainly identical.

How to get this interesting Wikipedia page can see, became the first larger, "International" event in esport every year 2000 held in Seoul. Mostly (still) Asian shaped. World championships are now held in all genres. Generation Y / Millennials are on the rise, unstoppable.

A new age is dawning

The foundation of "Twitch" (belongs to Amazon Inc.) 2011 but should probably be the real starting signal for a golden age of e-gaming. The number of hits from eGamer's “live watching” continues to increase and has meanwhile reached financial spheres, who probably (currently) only be topped by Youtube. Incidentally, other platforms such as i.a.. Youtube and Facebook also on this train. The growth of these platforms gives an idea of the potential. It remains to be seen, Which new platforms are still being created and whether current platforms such as Netflix are also following suit. The betting industry has already included the eSports area in the program.

Let's ignore it, that other genres (still) are much more popular in the eGaming world and we are focusing again on the eFootball market.

It was in Germany 2016 the VFL Wolfsburg, who was the first Bundesliga club to set up his own esports department. 4 Years later, this case has become routine, and almost worldwide. If we are still aware of which (Corona) Situation as we are today, it is not surprising, that we now take up this "question". By the way, the sports show has an interesting one overview about the current activities (during the corona quarantine) created in eSports. The conclusion of all participants is consistently positive and the "number of spectators" is remarkable. Everyone is also happy about the positive social media effects.

So we see, even the initial critics have recognized, that you can't close your eyes to it, and must actively participate, so as not to lose the connection. It will be more crucial than ever, how to win this so-called Generation Y for yourself.

A virtual Bundesliga This already exists, other countries offer similar competitions. There are even national teams. example: https://www.dfb.de/enationalmannschaft/das-team/

It should be mentioned positively, that the DFB recognized momentum as a pioneer and with its platform https://www.dfb-efootball.of/ started this year. eFootball is the focus here and some of the points we mentioned below probably fall into the decision for such a platform. So there will certainly be a not inconsiderable eSports department in the new DFB Academy in Frankfurt. Let’s not forget, that this industry is already generating a lot of jobs, and that we think will grow significantly.

Let's stick to the topic of workplaces and see which areas are different how could develop.

Vision

As already mentioned, carry platforms like Twitch marketing this field significantly, there are participations based on clicks, Sponsors and prize money up to the millions and eSports is currently in last place compared to other genres!

Let's go from the last known numbers / Salaries the e-soccer player, which are between 60,000USD and 350,000USD per year, it's simple math, to guess, that this area could one day end up in the spheres of real football (depending on community development worldwide). Digitization is already more advanced in many smaller countries than in the supposedly larger ones. It will therefore not be a technical obstacle, to get a global network of eSports to the level of real sports. Sometimes it should be easier and faster.

So let's continue to spin this.

So assuming, that the financial framework (nearly) would be achieved, would have a massive impact. You would have to "train" to almost the same extent, "keep fit" and develop, it will become again Employee and Departments have to give, that drive this forward, so-called Coaches (and yes, there are already, especially in South Korea).

Technical aids for the Analysis and even that Scouting already exists, but would then also be available in an adapted form. Imagine a video scouting platform like WyScout So for eFootball players. It is not that difficult for us to introduce us to Transfermarkt.de, for example, on eSport, and it already exists in the early stages: https://www.transfermarkt.de/intern/esports. Analysts would have to- and analyze disadvantages of playing styles, Collect statistics, may even recognize team and tactically relevant game patterns in the future. For example, what would be attributes of eSportsmen that you would have to scout and analyze? Speed of action, Composure, Technology etc – it's fun to imagine. And here too, e-players can receive yellow cards / red cards and injure themselves (z.B. Capsule tear in the finger). So scouts would analyze and track e-footballers, to possibly attract its potential for your own club. Best by (Live) „Scouting Feed“ 😉

And that brings us to the next topic, Transfers. eFooters could be lured, be sold / bought, even lent. Accordingly, there will also be "clubless" players, Market values would arise and, as in the domino effect, would also represent economic pillars of your clubs.

Contiguous, could one day be a formidable Hype around the players arise, as we know them from Messi or Ronaldo these days. Social media technically, some eGamers are already at the same level as these top stars.

The question of Game in itself comes up however. Which game, from a technical point of view one would use? FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer (much more popular in Asia) are the current pioneers, if we talk about VR right away, this in turn could change everything. Ligament systems, world- and European championships already exist, even if in a modified form. These would have to be planned and defined more precisely. But like e.g.. would be dealt with in a global comparison, if one uses FIFA but the other uses "Pro Evo"? The annual adjustments to the respective games would also be explosive innovations (comparable to engine changes in the formula 1) entail. exciting.

eSport outlets the current clubs are also already discussing. The infrastructure of our vision is therefore fully given. Nevertheless, personal surveys of employees in all of the above-mentioned areas gave predominantly arguing arguments on a global level. You either don't want to admit it, because you are afraid to lose your own importance in the game and thus your job, or you simply cannot imagine it.

Offline venues“Are also already available, For example, there is already a small arena in Hamburg that allows tens of thousands of spectators to follow the experience live in the stadium atmosphere.

Questions after questions. Will there even be naming rights for stadiums?? How will i .A. the rights / licenses of the games and players, Marketed and distributed videos etc.? And by whom?

Who of the current producers resp. what kind of company will there be, that produce the pictures / videos?

The Effects on real sports would be clearly felt in any case. It would surely be a kind of "redistribution" of interests, Sponsorship funds, Give membership numbers etc. The already declining numbers of active athletes would surely increase. This inevitably can have little positive for the general health aspect of people and can mean unforeseeable changes of a global social nature.

But it could also be the case with “club life” and membership numbers potential give, this though different to generate but still too receive or even too increase. We haven't even got the issue yet Virtual Reality mentioned, and what additional potential this area could bring for all mentioned areas. Let’s just think of potential “viewer earnings” that everyone could generate almost anywhere. Then there must be sold out stadiums at all, or could not be much more people via VR access (unpaid or paid) take part in a game as a "fan" and live viewer.

Virtual Reality could literally become a separate game changer, because then you would not even do sports “passively” via consoles or PCs, but almost active in virtual space, Trainings- and game units would also be designed very differently, possibly also locally unbound!? All of the previously mentioned areas would also have to be adapted. An e-footballer would then be a single active player within a real team, imagine 22 Field players and referees in their VR version!

Here, too, you can continue to develop endlessly and raise questions, ob man z.B. can then also work on the athletics and technology of VR eSports athletes, like you do in real football. Will there even be injured players and will the age of the players be decisive?

Too absurd? May be, but doesn't have to. One could also legitimately ask, what "comes after VR".

Conclusion

That falls (in our opinion) briefly out. We already mentioned it at the beginning. The question is not "whether", but when it will be so far and how. There will be a "redistribution". Inevitably, and situations like "Corona" only favor and accelerate that, the named areas of eSports are gradually being conquered or developed. First nationally and then increasingly internationally (networked).

Or what do you think?
